Unic Cancellation Policy

At Unic Technologies, we strive to provide our customers with a seamless and efficient transportation experience. To ensure that our services remain reliable and fair for both riders and drivers, the following ride cancellation policy applies to all Unic services:

1. Cancellation Window and Fees
– Customers may cancel a ride request at any time before the driver has accepted the booking without incurring any cancellation fees.
– Once the driver has accepted the booking, the cancellation fees will be £4.50 applied for the selected service.

2. Waiting Time Limits and Fees
– Each Unic Technologies service includes a grace period for waiting. If the rider does not arrive within this time, the driver may cancel the ride, and a cancellation fee will be applied. The waiting time limits and associated fees are as follows:

  • £0.26 waiting time charge per minute for following product
    UNI X, Pool, Comfort, Go Green,
  • £0.30 watiting time charge per minute for following product
    UNI XL
  • £0.35 watiting time charge per minute for following product
    Executive
  • £0.40 watiting time charge per minute for following product
    Luxurious

3. Driver-Initiated Cancellations
– If the driver cancels the ride due to the rider exceeding the waiting time limit or any other valid reason, the rider may be charged the applicable cancellation fee based on the service selected.
– In case of excessive cancellations by the rider, Unic reserves the right to review the rider’s account and take necessary actions, including temporary suspension or permanent deactivation of the account.

4. Rider-Initiated Cancellations
– Riders can cancel the ride after the driver has accepted the booking, but the cancellation fee will be charged according to the service type.
– Riders are encouraged to cancel as soon as possible if they no longer need the ride to avoid inconvenience and unnecessary charges.

5. No-Show Policy
– If the rider does not show up within the waiting time limit and the driver cancels the ride, the rider will be charged the full cancellation fee.

6. Refund Policy
– Unic Technologies will review requests for refunds on a case-by-case basis. Riders may be eligible for a refund if the cancellation was due to circumstances beyond their control, such as driver misconduct or technical issues with the Unic platform.

7. Policy Updates
– Unic Technologies reserves the right to update this cancellation policy at any time. Riders will be notified of any changes via email or in-app notifications.
